There’s a story I’ve been interested in writing lately, but I’ll need some help getting started.
For context the story is about a Legion of Doom-style supervillain team. When the leader, a Lex Luthor analogue, discovers that a company the one he runs has a bit of a rivalry with is actually a front for a multiverse-spanning corporation (run by a Lovecraftian pantheon known as the Board of Executives) trying to take control of Earth through economic means so they can effectively strip mine every resource it has, he gets the Legion together to be the ones who save the world for once. So, two questions:
What would economic conquest of Earth by a multiversal corporation look like?
And how would it make sense for not!Luthor to find out what’s going on?
Any help with this would be appreciated.
