Please more time. Please more time 

I dont think more time would hurt

I wasn't planning on participating as I'm really not a fan of the Olympics... but after seeing your post yesterday, I brainstormed a bit and think I have a fun idea. Sure, if we get a little extension, I'll submit something

You know, if I were feeling any more enthusiastic about writing these days, I might join in. I actually started a story that would fit the theme a LONG time ago. In fact, I have a thread about it here already, from 2006: www.superwomenmania.com/index.php/forum?...pic&catid=11&id=5683

One of these days, I would like to finish that story. But it's going to be long and detailed, and I'm only maybe 25% done. And I'm a slow writer. And I haven't actually been motivated to write in a couple of years now. So no chance of it happening in time for this workshop.

I was also considering writing something, but it seems my style of storytelling has gone out of style here on SWM -- no feedback on recent stories. I still write for myself, a little bit each day, but not sure I'm going to publish any more stories or episodes.

I think fiction of the kind I write is a 90's thing that has slowly fallen out of favor in this century. Too many other forms of fiction are available now and reading seems to be far less popular than before. A world of TikTok and YT Shorts. But then, I've lived long enough that I've seen just about everything go out of style, and most of that's Ok, although I still miss mini-skirts with boots and the long-legged women who can rock them.

Everything except maybe for Pink Floyd, who I still listen to daily, and Tolkien, who I also read a little of each day. Now THAT is pure magic. Watched the movies twice, once the theatrical release and once the extended versions, but the books are so, SO much better.

I miss the 20th century.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses, but I do know the feeling of not getting feedback: I think a lot of users in here are somewhat passive readers (they either forget, or don’t feel inclined to comment on stories. On the other hand, the site don’t notify an author when/if someone comment on their stories, which makes it so that one has to check their stories periodically too see if someone left a comment (with the original commenter getting no notice too). 

in terms of style, I think we are all products of our environments and what we have been exposed to. When I first found this site, I read a lot of works by Woodclaw, Au Goose, and other classics outside of those. By greatest inspiration however proved to be HikerAngel (which I think can be seen in my style: A mix of all three of the above). 

Shader this breaks my heart. I don't comment enough or provide feedback. I have been on this site for at least a decade now, I love your stories. Breaks my heart you wont publish any more.
