Diana the Valkryie down ...
In my opinion, Diana the Valkyrie is the OG site dedicated to female muscle and strength content and arguably has the largest compendium of content in the genre to be found anywhere. I discovered DTV back in 1996 around the same time I discovered the Aurora/Fairchild stories in the AU and have been a loyal super-fan ever since. It is where I discovered most of my favorite authors, some of whom still continue their creative endeavors on this site today.
If the rumors are true, I am saddened today both for the loss to families of the owner(s) of the site and the profound loss to our community. I don't have the technical skillset to retrieve the content and revive the site, but I would contribute to the effort.
Anyone else who has words is welcome to share.

I don't know if any of the members of the community here have tried to visit DTV recently, but you had, you would have noticed that the site has been down for several weeks now. I cannot confirm the reason, but I have heard it is because the owner(s) of the site has/have passed away. If true, this is a HUGE loss to the community of those that love female muscle and strength.

I posted some stories on Diana's site back in the old BBS (Bulletin Board System) era. You know, that thing we geeks used to share files by computer before the Internet was invented. If you owned a BBS and wanted to have twenty users on-line at once, you had to have 20 phone lines and 20 modems tied into your PC. That got expensive in a hurry. And if you were dialing in, you just had to keep trying until a line came free. Some systems would then disconnect you after a period of time so others could get in. Upload/download were either 300 or 1200 baud, although that kicked up a bit near the end. So it took a long time to move a large story up or down. So stories were usually short.
Always thought Diana's was a well run site mastered by someone benevolent who truly understood the genre. Diana was the very best at curating and collecting what we used to call FemDom on the BBS direct dial-in modem sites. And then she moved it all to the Internet in the mid-90's without missing a beat. Now the number of users could essentially be unlimited.
BTW... that FemDom label doesn't seem to be used much anymore, although maybe its morphed into something else. But many/most of our stories borrow from some parts of that 80's sub-genre, even today.
Diana persisted and stayed true to the genre as far as I could tell. It was fun to go back and read the early stories from the 90's on that site.
Shame to see it go.
Note: The genre is a lot older than that given that early sharing of genre stories was done by typing them up, mimeographing them (illicitly in some office when no one was watching), and then stuffing and hand addressing envelopes, putting a stamp on them and dropping them in a maibox. The world of illicit mimeograph usage. There was a lot more to it than most people would imagine today, starting with stinking up the entire office area whenever the machine ran. (Highly volatile hydrocarbons that would be considered a chemical hazard today.)

While I am saddened by their death, I am at least comforted by knowing compared to some writers and artists who simply disappear never to be heard from again, leaving everyone to wonder and speculate.

Very sorry to hear of her(?) passing, an OG's OG! And, based on my admittly limited interaction, a good person, as well.
